I will not work on mario kart, it will not work on SSBB ntsc (?pal). But it works with Castlevania Judgment ntsc (?pal). Those are the only 3 games I know of that run on ios36, and only one of them works. If you know of others, let me know.I will work with many (not all) games running on other patched ios.
Sorry for reincarnating this thread@mauifrog: Have you ever encountered a korean wii which is updated to 4.2u and hence displays 4.2u in recovery menu but just black outs when switched on normally instead of displaying Error 003.I guess this wii is never converted to 4.2u but accidentally updated while on X.XK version so the system menu chokes up even before trying to display a error 003. (Possibly because of installed korean content on it)If you've ever encountered such a wii, what are the chances that it will boot a game with a modchip that has autoboot feature?ps: I've dealed with such a brick before with no success btw, here is that thread:, but the guy who had that wii send the wii back to Korea and got it fixed (or got it replaced don't know exactly). Click to expand.When I have seen Korean wiis install a e/u system menu, it has caused vertical colored lines(pink/purple) to appear at boot. You may or may not be able to boot any games because of the settings, if they are set to Korean the may not load the out of region games. You'll have to try, but when my Korean wii was semi bricked it would not boot any NTSC-u or PAL game, all settings where USA, except the language and the shop code.

Hard to say.As for the other brick in your link, it probably took a disk update to 3.4u. 3.3u should not update SM of 3.3k. The 3.4u would have removed all the trucha bugs, so a the time the only hope would have been the Pink Fish disk and ios16, not sure what you would do with it. 3.3u should not update SM of 3.3k. The 3.4u would have removed all the trucha bugs, so a the time the only hope would have been the Pink Fish disk and ios16, not sure what you would do with it. Now I think that the 4.2k disk would fix it, assuming it would boot anything at all.
